We are seeking an experienced Child Health Specialist to join our Safeguarding Team as a full-time Safeguarding Practitioner for Children.
About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity for a registered health visitor or public health nurse with a passion for safeguarding to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic multi-agency environment. As a Safeguarding Practitioner, you will work closely with the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Portsmouth, providing safeguarding advice and clinical expertise to staff across Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
- Support the development and delivery of high-quality safeguarding practice within the MASH service.
- Contribute to the health component of the MASH service, working with partner agencies to ensure effective decision-making and early help interventions.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
- Evidence of recent study.
- Registered Health Visitor/Public Health Nurse.
- Safeguarding Champion or Lead in own specialty.
We offer a competitive salary of £37,338 to £44,962 per year, based on full-time hours. The estimated salary range is reflective of the job's requirements and the location. We prioritize hiring individuals with a strong commitment to safeguarding and excellent communication skills.
