Neonatal Healthcare Specialist

A career-defining opportunity exists for a seasoned Neonatal Healthcare Specialist to join the esteemed Neonatal Unit at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, part of the NHS Scotland network.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, contributing to the unit's continuing programme of improvement, and supporting the day-to-day operations of this busy department.
Key responsibilities will include collaborating with consultants, specialty doctors, and medical staff to enhance clinical services, teaching, audit, and research initiatives.
Fully funded by the NHS, the successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary ranging from £85,000 to £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a pension scheme, health insurance, and opportunities for professional development.
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess higher specialist training leading to a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register. Alternatively, applicants with CESR/ CESR (CP) qualifications may also be considered.

A full registration with a license to practice with the General Medical Council (GMC) is required for this role.
