Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality care to vulnerable patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Administer medication and treatments, monitoring patients' conditions to ensure they follow the treatment plan prescribed by a doctor.
- Build relationships with patients, determining their preferences and needs.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and psychiatrists to fulfill patient treatment plans.
- Communicate with patients' families about treatment progress, diagnoses, and recovery plans.
- NMC pin registration with no outstanding matters pending.
- Minimum of 1 year experience within an NHS setting post-registration.
- Right to work and live in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS (support provided if not registered on the update service).
- Must have a nursing degree.
- Excellent observational skills to assess patients, administer medication, and lookout for triggers of risk behaviors.
- Good standard of English.
- Good organisational and time management skills to effectively update caseloads.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills to support people with varying levels of understanding.
- Good psychological, medical, and legal knowledge.
- Must be physically fit.
- Ability to stay calm and think quickly in challenging circumstances.
- Good decision-making skills and knowledge of mental health first aid for responding appropriately to patients during a mental health crisis.
