Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with small groups of children, providing targeted interventions to ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons, providing one-on-one support to students and facilitating small group activities.
  • Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, following the school's behaviour policy.
  • Support teachers in assessing student progress and providing informative feedback to pupils.
  • Safeguarding will be your number one priority, ensuring the welfare of the children.
Requirements:
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
