Position Overview:

Are you a dedicated educational professional with experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate individuals to join our network of Teaching Assistants.

This role involves working within educational settings that cater to children and young individuals with diverse needs, including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and various mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in their academic pursuits while fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.
  • Modify educational materials and activities to accommodate individual learning requirements.
  • Exhibit adaptability and flexibility in response to dynamic classroom situations.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as necessary.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety and safeguarding practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience working with children or adults with SEN.
  • Strong communication abilities, with a focus on building positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • In-depth understanding of SEN and the various challenges that may arise.
  • Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations and manage crises effectively.
