About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special needs in a primary school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with small groups of children to ensure they reach their full potential through targeted interventions.
  • Engage in extracurricular activities to support students' social and emotional development.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes each child's growth and well-being.
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and facilitating small group activities.
  • Assist in assessing student progress and providing informative feedback to pupils.
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of the children are the top priority.

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one with GSL Education.
