Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons to pupils with SEN needs
  • Assist with outdoor day trips and activity days to promote social skills and independence
  • Embody the school's vision and core values, promoting a nurturing environment for pupils to thrive
  • Work with pupils with ASC, complex needs, and challenging behaviors, providing individualized support and guidance
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement personalized learning plans
Requirements:
  • Patience, proactivity, and resilience to work with pupils with SEN needs
  • Experience working in a SEN school (not essential)
  • Strong ability to develop relationships and rapport with pupils, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the teaching team and other stakeholders
