Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nurse or Midwife to join our dynamic research team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Clinical Research Nurse/Midwife, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the day-to-day management of our research portfolio, ensuring the smooth delivery of clinical trials and studies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the day-to-day management of research studies, including patient recruitment, data collection, and sample processing.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical colleagues to champion research and ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and confidential records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Trust policies.
  • Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with patients, colleagues, and external partners.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have:

NMC Nurse/Midwifery Registration and a graduate-level qualification in a relevant discipline.Experience in clinical research or clinical trials, with a strong understanding of ICH Good Clinical Practice.Excellent computer literacy and presentation skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
