Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nurse or Midwife to join our dynamic research team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Research Nurse, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the day-to-day management of research studies, ensuring the smooth delivery of clinical trials, and providing exceptional patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the day-to-day management of research studies, including patient recruitment, data collection, and sample processing.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical colleagues to champion research and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and confidential records, ensuring compliance with research governance frameworks and ICH-Good Clinical Practice.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on research-related topics.

Requirements
  • NMC Nurse/Midwifery Registration.
  • Graduate level qualification in a relevant discipline, or be working towards one.
  • Evidence of continuous personal, professional, and academic development.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
  • Knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice.
  • Post-registration teaching qualification (e.g., ENB 998 or mentorship course).
  • Phlebotomy skills.
