We are seeking a skilled Housing Management Specialist to join our team for a 9-month fixed-term contract. This part-time role requires 30 hours of work per week and will be based in our Dorset region, primarily in Wimborne and Beer Regis and the surrounding area.
As a Housing Officer, you will provide housing management services to customers living in our independent housing properties, taking a holistic approach to ensure an enhanced service is offered.
You will be seen as someone who can deliver a reliable customer service in a professional and confident manner, with great communication skills and the ability to resolve problems effectively.
Our aim is to enable our customers to live as independently as possible in their homes, ensuring that additional support is put in place when needed.
You will be present in the community, meeting customers in their homes and serving as a dedicated point of contact. You will have the ability to adapt your day to suit changing demands and will not be phased by a busy workload.

About the Role

You will be a natural problem solver, a 'can-do' person who is always keen to see a task through to the end. You will also be highly organized, a strong record keeper, and able to meet deadlines.
You will be a great communicator, able to adapt your style to your audience, and you will be confident in your administrative and IT skills, able to complete the 'paperwork' element of the role.
