We are seeking an experienced technical lead to oversee the engineering aspects of strategic land projects, from initial planning through to delivery. The role involves managing large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring infrastructure needs are assessed, budgets are met, and projects are delivered smoothly to regional teams and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g. Civil Engineering, Construction Management) and chartered membership of a professional body (RICS, CIOB, CIAT, RIBA). They will also have proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within strategic land development.

Key responsibilities include leading the assessment and planning of infrastructure for strategic land projects, overseeing the technical aspects of projects, and managing a diverse portfolio of projects from land acquisition through to detailed planning. The ideal candidate will be able to liaise with contracts, technical, and project managers to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and budgets.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with pre-construction teams to identify value-added opportunities in planning and design. You will also ensure compliance with quality management processes, including ISO procedures, and manage technical due diligence during land acquisition.
