About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning and Land Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects. This role involves identifying and securing strategic land opportunities for development, managing and progressing planning applications, and working closely with internal stakeholders to drive the strategic land acquisition process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and securing strategic land opportunities for development.
  • Support the land team in managing and progressing planning applications.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to drive the strategic land acquisition process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external parties, including local authorities and landowners.
  • Undertake site appraisals and feasibility assessments.
  • Ensure projects adhere to planning regulations and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a strategic land role, either from an LPA or private sector background.
  • A degree in Planning or a related Built Environment field (accredited by the RTPI or similar body is preferred, but not essential).
  • Chartered status is desirable, but not essential.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel for site visits and meetings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
