Job Description
At Belmont Recruitment, we are seeking a dedicated Substance Misuse and Homelessness Support Worker to provide tailored support to individuals at risk of homelessness. This role involves delivering comprehensive support in emergency/temporary/supported accommodations, addressing immediate and long-term needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish effective communication and referral pathways for individuals at risk of homelessness.
  • Deliver practical assistance with budgeting, education, training, and employment.
  • Prioritise caseloads based on crisis severity and intervention requirements.
  • Enhance partnerships with local authorities, health and care partners, and homelessness prevention initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work closely with local authorities, health and social care sectors, and community partners. They will also be able to build connections to health services, social care, peer networks, community resources, and mutual aid.

Location: Maidstone
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
