Silent Sounds Communications Ltd is seeking an experienced Linguistic Consultant to provide high-quality interpreting services to clients in Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas. This freelance position offers the opportunity to work in various sectors across the UK, including healthcare settings and local government.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and efficient interpreting services to clients.
  • Work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Requirements
  • Relevant interpreting qualifications, such as Community Interpreting Level 3 or higher, DPSI, DPI, or a degree in languages/interpreting/translation.
  • Prior interpreting experience in healthcare, government, or community settings.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other language.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
