Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our client's care team in Peacehaven. Our client is an independent man in his early 30s who has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. He requires assistance in all aspects of daily living and has some complex health needs, but his zest for life remains undiminished.

As a Support Worker, you will be supporting our client in his own home, working alongside a committed and dynamic small care team. We are looking for 2 support workers for days and 1 for nights. Please note, night shifts are only available to female workers.

The successful candidate will have previous care experience and be a reliable team player, friendly, fun and dynamic. You will need to drive as part of this role, so it is essential you have a full, UK driving licence. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy (expense to be met by HomeCareDirect).

We offer a range of benefits, including a company pension scheme, enhanced bank holiday payments, and annual leave paid at 5.6 weeks per annum. You will also receive full support and supervision from your dedicated Regional Care Lead, as well as training and support from your local HCD Community Nurse Assessor.

Requirements:
  • Previous care experience
