We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Specialist to join our client's care team in providing person-centred care in their own home. Our client is an independent man in his early 30s who has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. He requires assistance in all aspects of daily living and has some complex health needs, but his zest for life remains undiminished. You will be supporting our client in their own home, working alongside a committed and dynamic small care team.

We are looking for 2 support workers for days and 1 for nights. Please note, night shifts are only available to female workers.

Pay rates for these vacancies are broken down as follows:

Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 21:00 @ £15.00

Monday to Friday: 21:00 - 09:00 @ £16.00

Saturday to Sunday: 09:00 - 21:00 @ £16.00

Saturday to Sunday: 21:00 - 09:00 @ £17.00

Some of the main duties for this include:

· Administration of medication and regular stock-taking

· Moving and handling with a hoist

· Gastrostomy care

· Personal care

· Specialised techniques

· Assisting our client in the community

· Administrative duties

· General housework

We provide full support and supervision from your dedicated Regional Care Lead, training and full support from your local HCD Community Nurse Assessor, career pathway options, a personal development plan, and 24hr on-call support.

We will be your legal employer on behalf of the client and you will not be asked to support other clients. This is a permanent position with a 6 month probationary period.
