We are seeking a highly skilled Social Work Team Manager to lead our team in Swindon. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality and performance measures are met, analysing and mitigating risks, and safeguarding enquiries.

The role requires strong leadership and development skills, with a focus on promoting inclusion and value of diversity in the team and among service users. The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act and subsequent enactments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance audits and clinics to ensure quality and performance measures are met.
  • Analysis and mitigation of risks and issues, with solutions presented to the Head of Service.
  • Safeguarding enquiries and safe allocation of work to ensure professionals are competent and confident in handling complex and high-risk situations.
  • Supervision structure that delivers high-quality reflective supervision and bi-annual performance appraisals.
  • Effective prioritization processes to minimize and mitigate risks during high-demand periods.
  • Leadership and development of staff through learning opportunities that utilize research, evidence, and feedback.
  • Promotion of inclusion and value of diversity in the team and among service users.
  • Compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act and subsequent enactments.

Requirements: Professional Social Work qualification or equivalent. Estimated salary: £60,349 per annum.
