Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our team, specializing in highway projects in North Lanarkshire. This role involves promoting a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness among leadership teams, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and promoting best practices.

Key Tasks
  1. Advise on legislative updates and best practice policies, providing accurate reporting and data support.
  2. Enhance team readiness through effective communication, training, and competency evaluations.
  3. Maintain and develop HSE procedures and manuals to meet industry regulatory requirements.
  4. Design and deliver tailored training programs based on lessons learned from past and ongoing projects.
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in highway or groundwork projects.
  • Proven experience in health and safety advisory roles.
  • Hold a NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate, with additional environmental or auditing qualifications being desirable.
  • Possess CSCS certification.
  • Hold a valid full UK driving licence.
