In our Nuclear & Power function, we need a planner who can:
- Prepare project schedules, including critical path, resources, work breakdown structure, milestones, and document it in a Basis of Schedule.
- Participate and chair interactive planning workshops to develop comprehensive schedules using best practices and benchmarking data.
- Ensure all activities are logic linked and aligned with project deliverables, execution plan, and contracting strategy.
- Identify and explain variances between current schedule, plan, earned value, and forecasts, communicating them clearly to the project team.
- Work with the project team to identify required resources and man hours, updating these throughout the project.
- Prepare project reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis, leading progress communications and update meetings.
- Be proficient in MS Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Possess knowledge of project management techniques (critical path method, progress measurement, and earned value technique).
- Have experience in project planning, analysis, and reporting, preferably in Primavera P6 or similar software.
- Adhere to policies and procedures, establishing priorities under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, solid report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
