Avionics Maintenance Support Specialist

The role of Avionics Maintenance Support Engineer is a key position within the Typhoon Maintenance Unit (TMU) at RAF Coningsby. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting shop floor maintenance engineers in evaluating maintenance faults and providing general maintenance support. Additionally, they will contribute to the development and improvement of the IMS JIC library.
Key ResponsibilitiesSome of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Evaluating maintenance faults and providing support to shop floor maintenance engineers.
- Contributing to the development and improvement of the IMS JIC library.
- Providing ad-hoc project support as directed by the Senior MSE.
To be considered for this role, candidates should have experience in Typhoon Avionics depth maintenance, experience of using IMS Maintenix, Trilogiview, and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. A good understanding of contract tagging procedures and ability to work independently are also essential.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
