Delivery Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Operations Specialist to join our delivery team at the Alford Delivery Office. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of mail and packages to customers across the region.
About the Role:
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of mail and packages to customers
- Operate a company vehicle, adhering to road safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues that may arise
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
- A full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to lift and move packages up to 25kg
Working Conditions:
- Variable shift times between 09:00 and 12:00, Monday to Sunday
- Work weekends due to operational demand
- Ability to walk for long periods and work outside in all weather conditions
Compensation and Benefits:
- A market-leading hourly rate of £12.15, paid monthly
- Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
- 22.5 days holiday per year, rising with length of service

Estimated Salary: £24,688 - £30,824 per annum, based on 31 hours per week.
