Courier Driver

We are seeking a motivated Courier Driver to join our team at the Alford Delivery Office. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver mail and packages to customers in a safe and timely manner
• Operate a company vehicle, adhering to road safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues that may arise
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:

• A full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Able to lift and move packages up to 25kg

Working Conditions:

• Variable shift times between 09:00 and 12:00, Monday to Sunday
• Work weekends due to operational demand
• Ability to walk for long periods and work outside in all weather conditions

Compensation and Benefits:

• A market-leading hourly rate of £12.15, paid monthly
• Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate

Estimated Salary: £24,688 - £30,824 per annum, based on 31 hours per week.
