Cleaner and General Duties Operative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Cleaner and General Duties Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for performing various duties to support the smooth operation of our organization. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsible to the Deputy Manager, but will be tasked by the Account Supervisor from time to time, to be proactive in achieving a high standard of service to our customers. Ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining exceptional cleaning standards and professionalism. Your main areas of work will be Sales Stock Caravans and Cherry Tree Springs but you will be tasked to work in other areas.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- To take positive action to meet Company objectives and targets
- To support, implement and follow procedures concerning Health and Safety, Fire regulations
- Attend to and take all necessary action, statutory or otherwise, in the event of incidents or accident, flood, fire, theft, loss, damage, or other irregularities and take such action as may be appropriate
- To ensure security, functionality and proper handling of company property and equipment
- To report any gas / electrical / water and other faults to the Main Office immediately
- To handle company and customer keys securely and responsibly and according to Company Policy
- To be an effective communicator with customers
- To take prompt action to feedback customer complaints to the Main Office or the General Manager
- To build positive relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
- To project a positive, approachable, friendly and professional image
- To ensure appearance is according to Company Policy
- Ensure all written communication presents a professional image to customers and colleagues
- To attend meetings and undertake training as required
- To have a clear working knowledge of all Company Policies and operate within them at all times
- To ensure the safe storage, use and operation of cleaning equipment
- To ensure all COSHH requirements for cleaning products are followed
- To inform the Main Office or where appropriate, take corrective action on mechanical defects or breakdown of equipment and ensure equipment is not used until safe
- To ensure that all cleaning equipment issued to you is maintained to a safe and serviceable condition
- To maintain a cleaning stock sheet of all cleaning materials held by the company and stored in the ISO container at SS providing the Main Office with a list of items required to replenish stock holdings.
- To monitor and deliver cleaning materials as requested by the satellite parks and authorised by the Main Office bringing to the GM attention any concerns over quantities or usage
- To keep the Cleaning Storage Container and Cleaners Vehicle clean and tidy
- To complete a full clean of “Sales” and “Stock” caravans ready for occupation ensuring check sheets are completed and returned in a timely manner liaising directly with the Deputy Manager which will include but not limited to:
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types
- Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture
- Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures such as cookers, fridges etc.
- Removal of rubbish and left behind items
- Washing and drying windows
- Carpet and soft furniture cleaning
- Post “For Sale” and “Sold” signage in caravans as directed
- Open and secure the BH Sales Ground on a daily basis on your normal work days
- To clean the Main Office on a Monday and Friday and CTS Central Ablutions and The Seagull Pub daily when at work
- To complete gas deliveries to customers pitches safely and in a timely manner
- Repair basic water leaks or isolate to ensure the problem does not get worse
- Attend and rectify basic boiler faults which does not require a Gas Safe Technician
- Assist in unblock main drains at the parks as required
- Provide new customers with information on facilities at the pitch and in their caravan
- You are to report back to the Main Office in a timely manner all tasks completed, concerns or issues either by phone, in person or using the Check Sheets provided
- To undertake any other duties as and when required by the General Manager or his authorised deputies
You may also be required to:
- Clean other toilet block facilities at LS and TS as required to cover absences or sickness
- Prepare rental caravans for occupation at LS and TS
- Assist the Maintenance Team under the direction of the Foreman when work load permits
Pay: £23,795.20 per year
