We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a tutor, you will work with learners in Birmingham who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve their academic goals.
Our learners may have complex needs, including special educational needs (SEN) such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and Dyslexia or Dyspraxia. You will create lesson plans and deliver tuition that is designed to engage, inspire, and teach, while monitoring your learner's progress and providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality tuition to learners in Birmingham, focusing on Maths, English, and Science.
- Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
- Competitive weekly remuneration through PAYE.
- Control over your workload; flexible roles that fit around your existing commitments and availability with full-time equivalent hours available.
- Ongoing training opportunities that count towards your CPD and provide insight into working with SEN learners.
- Must hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
- Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
- Must be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
