Vistry Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Health and Environment Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe planning, delivery, and review of complex projects across the construction and maintenance industry.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation of Vistry Group's Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Policies, Standards, and legislation across all business units.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance with SHE standards and provide guidance and support to site teams.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to minimize the risk of accidents and incidents.
- Collaborate with site management to prepare and review construction SHE Plans prior to project commencement.
- Provide specialist support and advice to site teams on SHE matters, including the completion of pre-qualification and tender documentation.
- Assist in the collation of SHE information for monthly reports and input relevant data into the Vistry Group database.
- NEBOSH Construction or equivalent diploma.
- Experience in the construction industry, preferably in a Safety Advisor role within Residential Construction or Tier 1 Contracting.
- Member of a Professional Body, progressing to Chartered status.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with site teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
