Neurodevelopmental Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurodevelopmental Specialist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individually tailored treatment plans for children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, psychologists, and mental health practitioners, to provide holistic care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and carers to ensure effective communication and support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Neurodevelopmental pathway across Sussex CAMHS.
- 12 years post-qualification experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Full registration with the GMC.
- High-level knowledge and experience of neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Excellent clinical skills, using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
