Highbridge Somerset Interpreter Translator Required

We are seeking a skilled interpreter translator to join our team at Language Empire, providing professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and another language, with formal qualifications in translation or interpreting, such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages.
As a freelance interpreter translator, you will work with various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organisations, providing high-quality interpreting services to non-English speakers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services
- Checking the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
- Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Dealing with highly confidential information
- Liaising between the service user and service provider
