Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Peaple Talent. The successful candidate will have a background in networking or cybersecurity tooling, or be a skilled systems engineer with a keen interest in cybersecurity.

The role will involve leading investigations and providing technical expertise for all cybersecurity incidents. You will also offer an escalation path and support the development of team members through coaching and training.

Key responsibilities include leading projects that positively impact the company, working with cross-functional teams to identify security risks, and developing mitigation strategies. You will also conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses.

Collaboration with the IT Infrastructure team, Applications Teams, and IT Helpdesk is essential to ensure the provision and support of security for all IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and communications equipment. Working with the IT Leadership Team to establish security policies and procedures that comply with industry standards and regulations is also a key aspect of the role.

Primarily based in Highbridge, with travel required to our manufacturing sites in Somerset and Devon.
