Cybersecurity Engineer Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Peaple Talent.

**Job Summary:**

This role involves leading investigations, providing technical expertise for all cybersecurity incidents, and acting as a subject matter expert.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Incident Response: Lead investigations and provide technical expertise for all cybersecurity incidents.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert and coordinate resolution activities among various stakeholders.
  • Team Development: Offer an escalation path and support the development of team members through coaching and training.
  • Security Projects: Lead projects that positively impact the company, working with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Security Controls: Implement security controls and protocols across the organisation.
  • Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure they meet our security requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team, Applications Teams, and IT Helpdesk to ensure the provision and support of security for all IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and communications equipment.

**Company Requirements:**

The ideal candidate will have a background in networking or cybersecurity tooling, or be a skilled systems engineer with a keen interest in cybersecurity.

**Benefits:**

This role requires availability to support the business outside of regular business hours. Primarily based in Highbridge, with travel required to our manufacturing sites in Somerset and Devon.
