Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Peaple Talent. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
Key Responsibilities:- Incident Response: Lead investigations and provide technical expertise for all cybersecurity incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Technical Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert and coordinate resolution activities among various stakeholders, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Team Development: Offer an escalation path and support the development of team members through coaching and training, helping them grow in their roles.
- Project Management: Lead projects that positively impact the company, working with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Security Controls: Implement security controls and protocols across the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses, recommending remediation actions.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure they meet our security requirements, maintaining a secure and compliant supply chain.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team, Applications Teams, and IT Helpdesk to ensure the provision and support of security for all IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and communications equipment.
- Security Policy: Work with the IT Leadership Team to establish security policies and procedures that comply with industry standards and regulations, ensuring a secure and compliant environment.
Requirements: This role requires availability to support the business outside of regular business hours, with primary based in Acorn House, Highbridge, and travel required to our manufacturing sites in Somerset and Devon.
