Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Peaple Talent. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for managing our organisation's security infrastructure, conducting vulnerability assessments, and developing cyber incident response plans.
This role offers a great opportunity to work with cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies in a collaborative team environment within the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead investigations and provide technical expertise for all cybersecurity incidents.
- Act as a subject matter expert and coordinate resolution activities among various stakeholders.
- Offer an escalation path and support the development of team members through coaching and training.
- Lead projects that positively impact the company, working with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement security controls and protocols across the organisation.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure they meet our security requirements.
- Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team, Applications Teams, and IT Helpdesk to ensure the provision and support of security for all IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and communications equipment.
- Work with the IT Leadership Team to establish security policies and procedures that comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Availability to support the business outside of regular business hours.
- Primarily based in Acorn House, Highbridge, with travel required to our manufacturing sites in Somerset and Devon.
