Job Summary

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient control of inventory and supporting various business departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management
    • Ensure accurate and timely receipt of inventory items against purchase orders using our business management system.
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Inventory Control and Reporting
    • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce costs.
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory items.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to negotiate better prices and terms.
    • Identify and implement opportunities to reduce supply chain costs and improve efficiency.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or a related field.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
