Job Title: Referral Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Referral Coordinator to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Referral Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of referrals to our Psychological Therapies Pathway Single Point of Access (PTPSPA) team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage incoming referrals to ensure timely and effective processing.
  • Provide clinical supervision and advice to clinicians conducting Brief Screening Assessments.
  • Support clinicians in stepping clients up and out of the service.
  • Liaise with GPs, referrers, and other statutory and non-statutory services to ensure clients are signposted to the best service.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate diploma with experience in delivering evidenced-based psychological treatment or a core mental health qualification in mental health nursing, social work, or occupational therapy.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
  • Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course, with presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity.
  • Effective team working, including liaison with other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS.
