Creative Youth Support Role

Protocol Education is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Creative Youth Support Workers, playing a crucial role in fostering positive environments for young people.

Key Responsibilities:


• As a Creative Youth Support Worker, you will engage with youth across various settings, providing essential support during times of need. This may include covering for staff absences, offering additional assistance, or facilitating training sessions.


• You will be responsible for guiding and managing the behavior of young individuals, ensuring a constructive and encouraging atmosphere is maintained.


• Effectively de-escalating challenging situations in accordance with safeguarding protocols is essential.


• Providing individualized support in classrooms and small groups, particularly within specialized educational settings.


• Reporting any safeguarding issues following established referral procedures and policies.

Ideal Candidate:


• Candidates may possess experience in education, mentoring, coaching, or youth work, demonstrating a commitment to the development of young people.

• A genuine passion for enhancing the educational experiences of children and working collaboratively with like-minded professionals.

• A strong desire to instill confidence, knowledge, and essential skills in youth, preparing them for future success.

• A commitment to going above and beyond for students, making a meaningful impact on their lives.

• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, along with strong reading comprehension skills.

• A proven history of positively influencing the lives of young individuals, regardless of the field of experience.
