Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Referral Coordinator to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Single Point of Access Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of a responsive and high-quality service to patients with common mental health problems.

Main Duties

As a Referral Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing incoming referrals, ensuring timely and effective processing of referrals, and providing clinical supervision and advice to clinicians. You will also support clinicians in stepping clients up and out of the service and liaise with GPs, referrers, and other statutory and non-statutory services to ensure clients are signposted to the best service.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a postgraduate diploma in delivering evidenced-based psychological treatment or a core mental health qualification in mental health nursing, social work, or occupational therapy. You will have experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course, with presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity. You will also have effective team working skills, including liaison with other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS.
