About Our Company

DCS Group is a proud and passionate family-owned business with a rich history of 30 years of successive growth.

We operate out of two amazing sites, with a 26-acre Banbury Head Office and warehousing facilities as well as a new state-of-the-art Health and Beauty manufacturing facility occupying 100,000 sq. ft in Redditch.

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team and drive business growth and profitability.

Your main responsibilities will include increasing business with existing suppliers, developing new opportunities in line with profit guidelines, and representing DCS Group at meetings, events, and seminars.

You will also provide customers with a tailored range of products and promotions that suit their individual needs, using a category management approach.

Requirements
  • A strong understanding of commercial principles with the ability to negotiate and influence decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A self-motivated and flexible individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
