Family Bereavement Outreach Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to join our Child Support Team as a Team Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating support services for families affected by the sudden death of a child or young adult, including home visits, telephone calls, and meetings with healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. They will also have experience of working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the emotional and practical needs of families in this situation.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £26,500 per annum, depending on location and experience. The position is permanent, with normal office hours from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement, and some travel may be required.
