Senior Clinical Research Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Nurse to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHBW Trust). The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality clinical trials and research studies within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the assessment and management of care pathways for patients and carers participating in clinical trials.
- Recruit, educate, and monitor trial patients, collecting and documenting accurate data.
- Liaise with supporting departments, Principal Investigators, research sponsors, and research colleagues to coordinate clinical trial visits according to protocols.
- Ensure adherence to research regulatory standards and governance frameworks.
- Manage a portfolio of trials, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients/research participants.
- Band 6 Registered Nurse with research experience and/or extensive clinical experience.
- Interest in research and ability to contribute to the development of research studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
The post will involve an element of on-call and occasional shift working in line with the needs of the service and individual clinical trial requirements.
