About the Role

We're searching for a dedicated Duty Manager to join our team at The Beachcomber Inn, our flagship food-led pub on resort.

The Beachcomber Inn is a vibrant and bustling venue, welcoming hundreds of guests each week. From BBQs under the sunshine to conferences in the conservatory, as a Duty Manager, you'll play a vital role in helping our guests create lasting memories. You'll be part of a large team responsible for providing our guests with an altogether more fun and entertaining holiday experience.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, setting the standard for exceptional dining experiences for our guests through your visible presence in the venue.
  • Develop and mentor the team under the guidance of the manager.
  • Ensure effective communication within your team, keeping everyone informed with relevant updates.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness both personally and within the venue.
  • Guarantee compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the manager to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for controlling food costs and labor management.
  • Implement stock control systems to maximize gross profit margins, working alongside the manager.

We're Looking For:

  • Individuals with experience leading teams in a fast-paced food-led pub environment.
  • A Level 2 Food Hygiene certification is essential; an Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification is desirable.
  • Knowledge of stocktaking, labor control, and health and safety practices within the catering industry.
  • A Personal License holder is preferred.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, high-volume setting.
