Fire Training Instructor

As our Fire Training Instructor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring safe delivery of high-quality training, performing the role of Safety Officer and operating the training unit by computer. Your focus will be on customer/student safety and training outcome requirements.
This is a physically demanding role that requires exposure to both wet working environments and extreme temperatures while wearing Breathing Apparatus (BA) and Fire Retardant Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- You'll be responsible for carrying out Theoretical and Practical Maritime Firefighting and Damage Control training from basic to advanced levels.
- You'll complete relevant training operational documentation, recording and reporting all deficiencies occurring during training.
- You'll ensure all training equipment and classrooms are ready for use and then shut down in accordance with procedure.
- You'll be responsible for the Health and Safety of all personnel within the training facilities when conducting training operations.
- You'll ensure safe operation of training facilities (SSOW).
- You'll have experience of training in a dynamic environment.
- You'll demonstrate proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
- You'll hold a valid UK Driving License.
