Theatre Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Technician to provide technical support for our events at the Gatehouse Theatre. The successful candidate will have experience in a touring venue or similar, with strong technical skills and a focus on delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patching, rigging, and focusing lanterns
  • Providing technical support for incoming shows and users of the venue
  • Supporting events at Stafford Castle and other venues managed by Freedom Leisure

Requirements

  • Technical experience in a touring venue or similar
  • Good organisational skills
  • Working knowledge of lighting, sound, and stage equipment
  • High awareness of health and safety requirements
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
