Director of Financial Management

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Portfolio Management Finance to join our Infrastructure European Portfolio Management team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Operating Partners to drive performance, generate value, and provide financial expertise to our European operating businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including management accounts, IFRS, and lender reports.
  • Collaborate with operating partners and portfolio companies to develop strategic plans and review financial performance.
  • Identify and analyze performance variances, and develop action plans to ensure target performance is achieved.
  • Lead the onboarding and integration of new assets into Brookfield's finance and accounting processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with finance leadership of operating businesses and Brookfield Infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes within the context of a growing operating platform.

Requirements:

  • ACCA or ACA qualification with Big 4 experience and at least 7 years of PQE experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead work products and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to effectively manage priorities and apply a pragmatic and efficient approach to timely handle complex assignments.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, including comfort interacting with senior executives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability; willingness to 'dive into the details'.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment, to adapt quickly and to manage changing priorities.
  • Interest in continuous improvement of our processes and outputs.
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to review and update financial models.
