We are seeking an experienced Public Communications Manager UK to join our team at Blue Legal.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading national law firm, supporting their business services division as a Public Communications Manager UK.

  • Develop and implement media relations strategies to enhance our firm's reputation and visibility.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present press releases, statements, and other communications materials.
  • Support the Head of Communications in achieving our media relations objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of media trends and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and effective media coverage.
  • Represent the firm at events and meetings as required.
  • Draft and disseminate press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to inform future strategies.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum, based on experience.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of senior-level public relations experience.
  • Prior experience working in a law firm or similar environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and key stakeholders.

Please note that due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a law firm, accountancy firm, management consultancy, property/construction firm, financial services firm, or a high-profile relevant association or agency will be considered.
