**Job Summary:**

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional who can provide purchasing support to our UK stakeholders, negotiate and contract with selected vendors, and advise on commercial issues. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of public sector contracting and experience in software and managed service consultancy.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Manage procurement processes to achieve best overall value when acquiring or contracting for goods, services, and intellectual property assets.
  • Create contract documentation, including flow down terms, and mirroring of terms from customer contracts to vendor contracts.
  • Advise and guide business on third-party supplier commercial relationships.
  • Develop and manage tenders/requests for purchase, including response analysis and assessment with stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contract terms with suppliers and work with legal staff as needed.
  • Select suppliers and conduct fair value determinations.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish process indicators to demonstrate performance against key measurements.
  • Track and monitor savings.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in engaging with public sector clients.
  • Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) certification or equivalent skills and experience.
  • Proven experience in supply chain and supply relationship management.
  • Government security clearance, preferably Home Office/DVLA/MOD clearance.
  • Category knowledge in purchasing services, software, and staff augmentation.

  • Change champion with the ability to represent procurement values independently.
