HR Support Specialist

The Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support the Chief Operating Officer with all HR matters.
This role is a newly created position, with the Chief Operating Officer currently handling HR responsibilities. However, due to other commitments, a HR Administrator is needed to assist in this area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the recruitment process by advertising job openings and processing candidate applications.
- Onboarding new employees, including preparing employment contracts and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance evaluations.
- Reviewing and updating staff handbooks and policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Providing HR support and guidance to employees, including resolving queries and concerns.
- Administering employee benefits and managing leave and absence procedures.
- Coordinating with external HR lawyers and the Chief Operating Officer as needed.
Essential requirements include:
· Minimum of three years' HR experience
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Ability to work in a small company environment
· A-level or equivalent education
