Visitor Attractions Sales Planning Manager Opportunity

Drive sales and deliver exceptional visitor experiences with our dynamic team. We're seeking a strategic thinker with a passion for sales and a keen eye for revenue growth opportunities. As the Sales Planning Manager, you'll develop and implement sales strategies, optimize pricing, and manage ticket inventory to ensure the continued success and growth of our attractions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement robust sales strategies to maximize ticket sales across all attractions, leveraging expertise in dynamic pricing and multi-attraction ticketing.
  • Proactively identify and capitalize on sales opportunities to drive business growth and achieve ambitious sales targets, staying ahead of the competition through trend analysis and strategy adjustments.
  • Oversee the daily management of ticket inventory and booking systems, including API integrations and integrated timing systems, monitoring selling patterns, forecasting demand, and providing insights to optimize inventory levels and meet both customer demand and financial goals.
  • Collaborate with Travel Trade sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure the alignment of sales plans with broader business objectives, leading cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Own the sales targets and KPIs for the Visitor Attractions department, regularly monitoring performance, preparing detailed reports, and presenting forecasts and recommendations to executive management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, developing and implementing solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sales operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in sales planning and inventory management, ideally within the visitor attractions, events, or hospitality industries, with familiarity with ticketing and booking systems, and experience managing APIs.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data, spot trends, and provide actionable insights to drive performance improvements.
  • Natural leadership ability, excellent team management skills, and effective communication skills to inspire and guide others, ensuring success within your team and across departments.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high standard of performance.
