We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in a housing environment. Our client is a well-established organisation that owns and manages over 40,000 homes across the South West. With plans to build another 5,000 properties, they provide a range of accommodation including affordable rented, shared ownership, and private sale homes.
The Role:
- Provide a first point of contact service for callers and visitors to offices and accommodation.
- Offer an efficient, responsive, and accountable administration service.
- Work with customers and colleagues in a fast-changing environment.
- Maintain accurate records and data management.
The Candidate:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of spreadsheets and databases.
- Experience of office procedures.
- Great communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable communicating with a diverse range of people, including those who are vulnerable.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of information.
Summary:
This is a part-time role, working 20 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday, 9 am - 1 pm). This is initially a 6-week position. A DBS is required for this role at Enhanced – Adult/Children level.
