Restaurant Operations Manager

- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a warm welcome to all guests
- Minimise complaints and handle them professionally in accordance with company policies
- Supervise and manage the Restaurant team in line with company policies and manuals
- Work collaboratively with the Food and Beverage Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager to maximise sales performance and achieve targets
- Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs
- Follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual
- Ensure service of food and drinks is done quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
- Train and develop your team to ensure they are effective in their roles
- Stay up-to-date with current promotions and new products
- Communicate offers and promotions to guests
- Assist with function and event set-ups in accordance with procedures
- Maintain accurate billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company policy
- Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations
- Ensure service meets the standards to maintain and achieve relevant awards for Gallery Restaurant
- Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy
- Develop good working relationships with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel
- Understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid
- Immaculate personal presentation and standards
- Attention to detail and ability to forward think
- Strong team player
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and smile in challenging situations
