Restaurant Operations Manager

- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a warm welcome for all guests.
- Minimize complaints and handle them professionally in accordance with company policies.
- Supervise and manage the Restaurant team in line with company policies and manuals.
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager to maximize sales performance and achieve targets.
- Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs.
- Follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual.
- Ensure service of food and drinks is done quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards.
- Train and develop your team to ensure they are effective in their roles.
- Stay up-to-date with current promotions and new products.
- Communicate offers and promotions to customers.
- Assist with function and event set-ups in accordance with procedures.
- Maintain accurate billing systems and obtain all payments from customers in accordance with company policy.
- Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure service meets the standards to maintain and achieve relevant awards for Gallery Restaurant.
- Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
- Develop good working relationships with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
- Understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Immaculate personal presentation and standards.
- Attention to detail and the ability to forward think.
- Strong team player.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and smile even in challenging situations.
- Tronc / Service charge (Food & Beverage Departments only).
- End of Season Bonus – Hourly paid team members will receive 10% of all hours worked between 20th June – 22nd September.
