Job Description: We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Bromley on a full-time, long-term basis.

About the Job:
You will work closely with the teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions and structured routines to foster engagement and independence among children with special educational needs (SEN).

Main Tasks:
  • Supporting students' learning and communication using specialist tools like PECs and Makaton.
  • Delivering personalized support to students with complex SEN needs, including Autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
  • Collaborating with SENCOs, therapists, and families to develop individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Implementing positive behavior management strategies to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.
  • Leading sensory and therapeutic activities to promote students' holistic development.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience supporting children with complex SEN needs in primary settings.
  • Proficiency in PECs, Makaton, and other adaptive communication strategies.
  • Demonstrated empathy, resilience, and a passion for inclusion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Salary: £85-£95 per day
